Capsule for the Day
We all have our own struggles: doubts, fears, worries and many others. We try very hard not to be weighed down by them. But they have their own way of knocking us around and even down. Sometimes, they knock us down so badly that we give up trying to rise.
We then take comfort on "the ground". After all, he or she who is down need fear no fall. This line sounds very appealing, especially in those difficult and challenging times of being knocked around and down. We tend to settle with the less demanding option - we give up trying.
But do we really find comfort on the ground? Or, are we really meant to be on the ground? What if we do take up the challenge and try again. Many of life's failures are those who give up trying when they were at the verge of a breakthrough. Besides, God doesn't give up on us, why do we give up trying?
