Capsule for the Day
We don't wake up in the morning and choose to fail. We work so hard to succeed. We do our best, and we often do it well. We consult, we seek the opinion of experts and we even seek help from those who have succeeded in our respective endeavours. We gave our best... but we failed.
Are we failures? It is not uncommon to think we are failures when our best isn't good enough for us to pass our exams. Come to think of it, we are good at what we do... We have the skills, the expertise... We topped the class the previous year... but here we are failing; not succeeding in life.
Are we any good? Self-doubt... depression... all because we failed. But is failure an end in itself? No! Simon for instance, was a skilled fisherman. He failed in his trade. But Jesus transformed him through his failure to be Peter... Your failure could open doors to who you can become.
