Capsule for the Day

There is a big push for a Godless society and also a civilisation that is without any religious tenets. Religion is poison, many will argue. It is responsible for all the wars and the problems in the world... "there is so much religion and there so little love". Get rid of religion, get a better world.

Mention any religious country and you will obviously get a high corruption index. So, there is strength in the argument to get rid of religion. Perhaps, it is God's fault that we are corrupt. After all, He created us in His  image and likeness. If He isn't corrupt Himself, why then are we corrupt?

This sounds like a typical addict’s argument. Deny the problem! Shift the blame! And keep the addiction alive! But if God, religion is the problem, how come we have people like Mother Teresa of Calcutta?I guess we have to be honest here and take responsibility, and stop blaming God and religion for our own failings.
