Capsule for the Day
If a day wants to go bad, it really goes bad. And it hurts to have a bad day like that. Emotionally, it drains us. Physically, it takes a toll on us. The spiritual dimension is obvious, it dampens our spirit. Anger and frustration are typical emotions of such days. And we feel really bad.
Fair enough! Who will have a bad day and just go on smiling? It is natural to vent the anger and frustration on others. And the poor victim at the receiving end, just gets a bite of the "bad apple". Believe me, he or she passes on the poison. So, a bad day for A begets a bad day for B, and C....
Couples, families, friends get a fair share of a bad day's drama. But a bad day doesn't get hold of us without our permission. Although a bad day comes to us, we choose to let it in and have a good hold of us. But we can choose to leave it at the door and have a good day, if we wish.
