Capsule for the Day

We could learn many things from our mobile devices. One obvious lesson that comes to mind is the sim-card. When you insert a particular sim-card into your mobile phone, you only receive the network of that sim-card. All other networks hit your phone, but they don't affect your phone.

The network of the sim-card in your phone controls your phone. It determines the quality of your calls, text messages and data usage. In summary, the sim-card makes your phone useful. Our thoughts play the role of a sim-card in our lives. What we think determines how we live.

If our thoughts are positive, we receive a positive network, although negative networks may hit us, they don't affect us, because what is in us, the Good, overrides what hits us. This is the basis of Christ's teaching, "it is what is in a man that makes a man unclean", bitter, angry, frustrated...
