Capsule for the Day

Many parents are happy with the success story of their children. They pride themselves on the achievement their children have attained. It is exciting for parents to see their children at the top of a firm, heading a research group... inventing something new... a medical breakthrough etc.

That is my son! That is my daughter! Success is prized like a priceless pearl. We love to be a character in a success story. Parents love to celebrate their children success. This is true for God as it is true for our parents. God loves to see us succeed. He loves our achievements.

But He also cares for those who failed... It is hard, though, for parents to hear the success stories of other children when their's failed. But what proves parents' love true is their ability to journey with their children through the muddy waters of failure to success. Success has a price tag!
