Capsule for the Day

Thank you for your capsule on loneliness. It raised many questions. I am a bit concerned with your conclusion "have you tried to love without being loved"? My answer is yes. For 20 odd years, I had loved my husband and did everything I could, and yet I felt lonely, he cheated on me many times.

I am happy you wrote me. Your concern is real, and I guess it is the concern of many readers too. But you see, the capsule is working. To many of us, capsule for the day makes us think and ask the dificult questions. How come I loved and I wasn't loved in return? Why was I lonely in love?

I don't pretend to have answers here. But the reality is many of us try to love too well like Romeo and Juliet, and that in a way enslaves, isolates and leaves us lonely. This might not be the case with you. However, we can't truly love without the God of love. For true love heals loneliness.
