Capsule for the Day

"Do you believe in miracles?" I was moved to tears when a lady suffering from malignant cancer asked me that question. Tears ran down my cheeks because I am a miracle myself. No one believed I would live. That I am alive today is God's grace and that I am a priest is truly a miracle.

So, I do believe in miracles. And I strongly believe miracles do happen and are still happening right now. Reading this text is in itself a miracle. But I guess what the lady was looking for is an answer to the questions: "Can God heal me of malignant cancer? Is this miracle possible?

My answer was yes. But when and in what manner, I don't know because I am not God. However, if we trust Him enough to let Him be God, we will make ourselves available for miracles. The question shouldn't be "are miracles possible", it should rather be "Do I trust God to let His will be done".
