Schedule and Mass Times

PLEASE NOTE:

Saints Mary and Joseph Cathedral is currently closed due to roof restoration.

All* Masses are being held at Our Lady of the Angels (OLA) “Ursuline” Chapel , on the corner of Barney & Jessie Sts, Armidale, with the entrance via the gate on Barney St. 

* During school days, the Wednesday 09.15am Mass is held at De La Salle (DLS) Chapel at O’Connor Catholic College, 39 Kirkwood St, Armidale.

• Procedure in receiving Holy Communion: If everyone would please fall into two lines with those who receive Holy Communion on the tongue, processing at the end.
• The Torregiani Room bathrooms will be accessible for weekend Masses, funeral and other large services. Access will be via the door directly opposite the Barney Street entrance gate and a fenced corridor. Please note, there are some steps using this route, so for those with special needs please take additional care. A reminder that all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian when using the bathrooms.
• The Cathedral Precinct car park will be available for use (for weekend Masses, funeral and other large services) with access to the OLA chapel via the same route which has been designed for the Torregiani Room bathrooms. Parking is also available along Jessie, Dangar, Rusden and Barney Streets, however please be courteous to our elderly and special needs parishioners by leaving Barney Street parking for their use.
• Additional seating will be available in the choir loft which is accessible via the entrance door to the right of the main entrance along the back wall of the chapel. Only children of choir members, fully accompanied at all times, are permitted in the loft. No other children should be seated in this area.
